You can change this by using the Canada Yahoo portal . Type ca. yahoo .com instead of yahoo .com on the browser. This preserves the old format. From there you can navigate any part of the yahoo site

why is it that I can see powerpoint presentations in yahoo , but not at my college on their portal ?
To see a power point presentation you would need power point installed on the computer. Maybe power point is not installed in your college.

It should be mail. yahoo .com in the United States. It may be different in your country. Check out the help section at the bottom of your local Yahoo portal .
