Expand out the radical by squaring both sides 2x+1+2√(2x+1)+1=3x+4 Isolate the radical expression 2√(2x+1) = x+2 √(2x+1) = 1/2x+1 Square each side 2x+1=0.25x²+x+1 0=0.25x²-x Factorise and solve for x 0=x(0.25x-1) Solve x=0 0.25x-1=0 =>...

30 degrees is constant so you can substitute it for x. 1+cos^2(x)/sin^2(x) = 2csc^2(x). 1/sin^2x= csc^2x 1+cos^2(x)*csc^2x 1+cos^2x = -sin^2x -sin^2x*csc^2x Doesn't work.
