Sounds like a driver issue. Have you tried safe mode? How about system restore if you can get into safe mode.

It sounds like a hardrive problem.You might want to replace the hardrive.

It's possible you have some bad RAM. Try opening up your computer and removing one stick of RAM at a time, while retrying the installation. If it works after removing some RAM, get it replaced...

That is called the ' Blue Screen of Death' revert your computer back to an earlier time or re-install windows .

try do a windows restore, before the files from the hypercam were put on the... that say it cant be cause by overheating then it can, blue screen is from over heating and program errors...
