Unless the item was shipped by Express Mail with the USPS, you won't get updated tracking . Delivery Confirmation is not a true " tracking service ".

The simple answer is that you can't. The USPS processes nearly a billion pieces of mail a day therefore finding one particular package without a tracking number is highly unlikely.
