Call up both, get a quote, and go with the cheaper one. U - Haul tracks are pretty bad though - if Budget's a bit more expensive, still might be worth it for a better vehicle.

A U Haul is guaranteed to break down along the way. In all the history of myself and others I know renting one, they will not make the trip without at least one call out to their emergency service.

Did you not ask at the rental office as to their estimates? I estimate you might get enough change out of $1200 to buy a burger at In n Out once you get to California, Good luck with the move.

try Budget I know they have car trailers I'm not sure if they have cargo trailers though

try budget or u - haul . the are the cheapest. I am moving outa state next week and I checked every truck rental place and these had by far the lowest prices!!
