Well for me to give you a price would be impossible since I have no idea what size truck you need or the area your moving from. - I can give you an idea based off the rates in my area and that would be around 20-40 for the truck plus about .89 - 1.09 per mile...

Call up both, get a quote, and go with the cheaper one. U - Haul tracks are pretty bad though - if Budget's a bit more expensive, still might be worth it for a better vehicle.

...on the day you drive, if you stop at a motel or not, etc. I would not recommend U - Haul if you want to know the truth. They have the most poorly maintained fleet of rental trucks on the planet. Ask any tow truck company.

Just make another reservation. I think you can do this online. If they gripe tell them you couldn't get ahold of anyone.

Yes they use trackers and if she takes it out of state illegally they will call the authorities and she will be in big trouble.
