There are plenty of hotels that offer transportation to the port, but I don't think any of those would offer shuttles...

That is a terrible question. Nobody can give you an estimate right off the bat without you telling how long the trip will be for, if you plan on staying in a hotel or a condo, what city you want to stay in, etc... Think next time.

Sit as close to the driver/front as possible. If the bus has other people on it, sit with a female passenger. Do not chose an empty seat, as that will put you on the inside, and a male passenger could box you in.

If you feel it in your heart to give the driver a tip , I would say go for it, generally 10-20% of your fee.
