The dealer should have no issue getting it all. Instead of a connector, refer to it as a "pigtail". I would not get an aftermarket TPS. If anything, get a OE TPS and then an aftermarket pigtail. CarQuest, NAPA, AutoZone...

they do idle faster in park then in gear. it could be the throttle position sensor or it could be the throttle body needs to be cleaned out inside.

that sounds more like a bad tps sensor because they wont always throw a trouble code when they ... trying to get the problem fixed,try the tps and clear the computer off an see if that helps it...

Part of the cover on the side of the throttle body. Either replace the cover or replace the throttle body assembly. Next you will need to make sure you program the PCM for the updated calibration & perform the idle relearn with the Tech 2
