I belive toffee blonde has a brown undertone, and will appear a more light-brown blonde colour..., but i think either will look great on brown hair :) I would say go with the toffee though, it wont be too outstanding, but will give lighter streaks...

...would imagine, closer to the 7GD. Think candy... those hard toffee candies.. they are sorta golden brown.

chestnut is dark brown like a chestnut toffee is kind of a light/medium brown that is slightly yellowish like a ice coffee color

Honestly, the differences between the colors aren't so drastic & for medium brown hair either of those would look great. go for toffee blonde :)

You almost always have to get it bleached to get it toffed color.If not it won't look like toffee colored but more like black.It will add to its darkness so get it bleached before dyed.

I have the same color hair as you and i got caramel and everyone loved i and complemented it and it looked awesome but when it faded i went back and she put blonde in it and i disliked it a lot. :\

its usually about 1:1 , and for processing it depends on your hair just make sure after you apply to check your hair and when its lifted to your desired color wash it off it tusually takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes
