are you storing it in refrigerator or room temp? they say not to reuse some plastic bottle - because of Bactria can build -up. (I have a bottle of water in the car - the problem - boils in summer / freeze in winter.)

Yes. tap water is filtered to a higher standard than bottled. One is controlled by EPA the other by FDA

No since tapping a closed bottle does nothing except make noise . The bottle is CAPPED noting can get out. You can't remove air from a capped bottle.

It would smell bad or there would be stuff floating in it. I would think that it would go bad because the air that gets trapped in there, and there is still bacteria, etc. in your "filtered" water. Why don't you just buy a couple gallon...
