STP back in the day used to just be an additive you put in your engine. Nowadays they have their own line of oil , oil filters ,air filters ,fuel filters ,gas additive and such.

Stp makes a 10w-30 engine oil around a 15w-40..... contains cheap volume index ...good VII's. But of course will make the oil thicker.... not good in the winter time. Cd2 oil ...

yes, it is a filter for both types of oil , and will last 10000 miles. but if you change the oil , the old oil is still in the filter . I have done it before when I was too lazy to change the filter .
