It could be the stress of being in over their head if they’re not really qualified for the better job. Also not everyone with mental illnesses can work. Also if they lose the job due to mental illnesses that can be demoralizing.

This is normal, these things take time to work through. You can try and force yourself to do more and see how you feel, but don't do too much as it may backfire and you can go backwards. Like do one extra thing that day, and see how you feel.

NO, she needs proper medical help for the psychosis , this can be common after birth. You need to take her to a Doctor, this is a serious condition and she needs specialist help. Getting CPS involved will make it much worse for all of you.
