  5. It'd run most games on medium to low settings. That gpu (the GT 640) isn't a card meant for gaming, it's more a medium-low end consumer card.

  8. the 7200rpm will have a faster transfer speed, but may generate more heat and consume more power. The difference can be noticeable but it's not huge. It will mostly affect load times and application start-up.
