  4. According to the PS4 FAQ, it can't be any thicker than 9.5mm. Furthermore, it has to be a minimum of 160GB, and SSDs over 128GB are pretty expensive and the performance increase probably wouldn't be worth the cost.

  10. It's hard to say exactly, but it will be NOTICEABLY faster, especially when starting up and loading programs. Think 30 second boot time and 10x faster to load stuff.
