i would go with a honda. much more reliable and a good trusted name. a honda with 125,000 miles i would prefer. my cuz had an old accord with 250,000 and it was still faster and ran better than his 98 eclipse. i think it was an 85

Short answer is yes as long as it's paid off. As for a new car, why don't you fix the engine issue and you won't have to get a new car. Look into some CPO's.

Go for the RX8. Adding a little two stroke oil to the fuel helps with the lubrication of the cylinders.
