...like natural gas. fuel is technically anything that can be burned for power (gas, coal, wood, etc.) but for cars usually means gasoline or diesel. oil is used for lubrication of engine parts and is not used as fuel in cars (but it is a fuel).

Gas powered golf carts are four stroke...therefore you should use 89 octane unleaded gasoline. Oil should be of the four stroke variety. Take a quick look at your manual to find out what type and weight of oil you should use and when to change it.
