Third person is correct... While perhaps there is no "slant", the information is being imparted/ the "story" is being told even if it is just imparting empirical information, so therefore a "teller"...

B. Narrative tells a story, and non-fiction is true. So it might be the story of Lewis & Clark exploring the Louisiana purchase, but told as a story, not as a history book.
