i had the same problem today. i realized i just needed to update the version. just go to market and search music paradise and click update.

You can download blinkbox which has a lot of diffrent music on there and doesn't use Internet when you pick you play list of song and Is also free

DEF the samsung galaxy, Ipad still doesnt have flash which is asurd, so unless you dont wanna be able to use the whole web, id def go with the galaxy, pretty sweet tablet and gonna be better bang for your buck than the ipad 2 in my opinion, good luck
