While you are able to add/set up to 6 aliases for each Yahoo! Account, you may still need to sign in with your primary Yahoo! ID when accessing some parts of Yahoo!. There is no way to change this.

Go to account setting and make sure that sent mail box is checked to show mail. Sometimes if box is not checked, any sent mail will not be saved.
