Of the common leukemias , probably AML (types without good-risk chromosomal abnormalities) is the worst, followed by ALL, then CML, then CLL (worst to best).

The survival rate for leukemia has increased significantly and so has available...you seek. You may end up just as miserable with no chance at survival . Do the research and than talk to your doctors...

It depends on what kind of leukemia it is. It is very unusual for a doctor to call anyone and tell them they have cancer over the phone, much less after an annual check up.
