There are pet-safe insecticides for people like you. I suggest getting some (it will say right on a label). Other than that, you could always let your cat take care of the pests (they will naturally do this once they notice a bug on the loose).

guessing you are talking about silverfish...it probably cam from the wall/ attic area where they live, not any real god treatment to totally eliminate them. You can treat the openings that go into the wall/attic with a residual product that will help keep them out of sight...

Fungus gnats show up when you have house plants with moist soil. But if yours are just coming now, they might well be "corn flies" - which can get through screens. Are you in a rural area, sort of?

You can't unless you put them away inside in covers. Spiders love garden chairs with the angles for building webs on and the airflow that brings in dinner - they are just too pefect for them.
