yeah go to that island and hit shift+m and it will bring up a menu and then just click where you want to start mining. i was confused the first time too

To get them higher you can expand some of your buildings, get more troops, Pillage someone or make a trade.

well a few days ago the servers of ikariam were all down. if you still cant log on now then talk to a GO at the ikariam board. ikariam .board.com or ikariam .board. org
