I've only had it not work at gas stations. It's so that you can't overdraw the account, when you swipe your card it processes a hold for $50(if you have say $54 then you dispense $75 in gas then they have to cover it)

Increased benefits that came with the new recovery package passed by the feds. I believe it's up to $25 a week more. But it's also retroactive back to February 21st or so. You probably go the payment for the increased...

Sorry but you can only withdraw funds that are there, there is no such thing as a overdraw for unemployment.

Toy-R-Us may have ran the card to make sure the funds were there or to put a hold on those funds. Don't be surprised if the charge reappears. They probably ran the actual charge and released the hold...
