Typically your mouse will zoom in if you have the control key pressed while scrolling. You may want to check and see if your keyboard is causing the problem and not your mouse . Good luck =)

It is possible... Do you have a brand name mouse like Logitech or MS? Some of their software lets you change the DPi on the fly.
