AVN has hosted an award show since 1984! There are a slew of categories, but similar to your standard movie awards they are chosen in the same manner.

Yes. Quite often people winning the awards don t deserve them and aren t nearly as talented as some people I know personally.

I don't like political statements being used either at these shows . These are award shows and that is what should be talked about. But I don't think they will ever change.
