that will make a huge difference. also if you leave off the backside of the pipes allowing the exhaust to exit behind the wheels,or slightly in front of the axle but under the bed, it will make it noticeably louder, but i wouldnt do that for a daily driver. that can be dangerous.

"loosen" the suspension ..get diff shocks little softer springs(or cut a little of the originals but not a whole coil) or convert to airride ..evev better idea sell the tacoma buy an older chevy (2006 and older) my 05 silverado rides like a dream...

yes you can, there should be a dealer option for the taller wheel. if your not wanting to raise the vehicle any you can get the 17" wheel and then find a tire shop that can order you the right height of tire to maintain the correct overall height so as not to throw off the speedo
