usually a bad tps will cause a stumble on tip in acceleration or at cruising speeds. the reason that it causes problems in those two areas is because that is where the most movement occurs

If it starts but then sputters out later, you're not getting fuel. try the fuel filter if it's super clogged maybe (do you have enemies)? Also the fuel pump could be out and its not pumping fuel ...to tell turn the key but don't crank it and...

Malfunctioning or incorrect PCV valve would be my first guess. Maybe need a valve with a different vacuum weight?
