  1. Inspect the carbs again. Remove the jets and hold them up to the light - you should be able to see through them. The pilot jet openings are as thin as a pin head and get easily clogged with bad gas.

  2. Don't have an exact answer just giving a different way of thinking it thru. Did you happen to do a fuel fill-up just prior to things going south? (bad gas?!?!) Do you have an in-line fuel filter? Have you pulled a plug or two to see how the engine is...
