  5. It would remove some of the files that are needed for root so yes you will have to re root your device I had to re root mine after I downloaded a firmware upgrade.

  6. I don't know how to root a galaxy S4, but I assume you just flash a SuperSU rom to your phone if you already have a custom recovery installed. (CWM, TKRP)
