You shouldn't risk it. The wood is too large to get into your bloodstream, but if it's sharp, it can tear the lining of your stomach, or intestines as it passes.

the question merely asks whether the theory you read about these 'forces' correspond to your scientific experience of probing and testing the liquids in practice. you know, 'forces' could be magical if not for our ability to really compare them...
