  2. Either there is a lot of extraneous data here, or I miss the point. A tube open at both ends has a fundamental wavelength equal to twice the distance between the ends, so here λ = 2 * 8cm = 0.16 m, so f = v / λ = 340m/s / 0.16m = 2125 Hz Hope this helps!
