  5. No vinegar, and watch out for the ammonia and hydrogen peroxide... those can bleach out your carpet... try a test area and see what it does ( I do all my tst spots in my hall closet where no one sees it hehehehe) Oxy clean -good Baking soda - not so much a good...

  10. What is the composition of the floor? Perhaps there is an underlayment or glue your wetting? **Seal the grout with a clear sealer...IT's a pain you have to put it on with a small brush and redo it once or twice a year but soooo well worth it.
