  1. Copy it from another *legal* copy of Windows in place of the corrupt file. You can also find the file on driverguide, but it takes registering there (which is free).

  2. when you press the print screen button, a snapshot of the screen is copied to your clipboard. You need to then open a program that can take the picture (paintbrush, word, powerpoint, photoshop etc.) and paste the snapshot into that, then you can save it.

  3. what prt sc does is literally take a pictre of what is on the screen. and if you go on to something like microsoft word and press paste the picture of what was on when you pressed it will come up. Hope i helped

  4. Press Print Screen. Go to Paint. Press CTRL+V to paste it. If it still doesn't work, try with a different keyboard. The button may be malfunctioning.

  5. What I would do, get a new computer and file suit in small claim court. Always get paper work in business... Big box stores and large chain store are very bad place to get service work done... Local shops and repair services do better...

  6. Print Screen ive used for videogames. In certain games, like oblivion, you change a certain code and it unlocks screen capture. Which is what print screen does in the game. But, beyond that, i dont know.

  7. You could just right click and delete them. They should not be locked. If they are, then download unlocker assistant and you can get rid of the file.

  9. On my HP laptop, my 'PRT SC' key is shared with the insert key. In order to use it, I have to press Fn + PRT SC.
