Optical drives are kinda cheap, it is like $20 per piece so i guess it wouldn't hurt if you get a brand new one instead. Overall, it is a pretty nice build you have there =P

It depends on what speed the pci-e 2.0 port is running at. If its running at x4 speeds, then dont bother. If its running at x8 you can probably do it with likely no performance loss. If its running at x16 then it will...

I would say about 700+ since your graphics card needs 500 watt plus the other components.

Get the GTX 760 instead which is cheaper and faster than the HD7950. Besides this, all are good =P

That's a pretty nice build =P the only advice i could give is to get the H100i liquid cooler instead which is better then of course since your card is great then playing on dual or triple 1080p monitors is a must have.
