  5. Oslo is a nice place to visit. In the summer it is daylight for about 20 hours and doesn't get truly dark. In the winter it gets about 6 hours of daylight...majority white, but there are others living there from all over the world. Everyone I met there spoke good English. Check out their wikipedia or wikitravel page to get a more clear idea.
