With MFI all injectors squirt at the same time. For SFI they squirt sequentially...time and the one that does not drop engine speed is the problem cylinder. MFI can't do that since they all trigger at once.

That's not two different engines. CID means cubic inch displacement. MFI is the type of fuel injection.

A throttle body injection to multi-port EFI conversion? Sure, it's possible. If you're lucky, the factory already has an intake you can find in a junkyard. If you're not, you may need to have the manifold machined to accept injectors and run a custom fuel rail...
