Yes, she might be anemic (i.e. deficient in iron), which is certainly a blood disorder and more common among females. I'm not a doctor, but I'm guessing that this is the first thing a doctor would consider. A simple blood test would confirm it one way or another...

Only stuff like aids, leukemia and hepatitis show up in blood work. so if nothing was said then nothing is wrong. but other stuff like cancer and failing heart will not.
