I think that may be exactly your problem. Try loosening it slightly. Not too much or the leak will start again.

could be a warn rubber washer in the end of the hose too they are cheep at local hardware store they can harden after a while or can try some teflon tape on the thread's that is if you don't want to pay too Much for something you can do or try before calling a repair men
