you should take the paper work on all this to your embassy and show them and have them send it to the embassy of the country in which the company worked. other than taking it to international courts which will take years,

With her I-485 in the works, she should already have her work permit and you should be OK. However, if you want this reviewed, pay a couple hundred for an immigration lawyer to review everything. The peace of mind is worth it.
