  2. I don't know your car that well but it wouldn't hurt to try this. If you have an air flow sensor warm up the car and tap near the air flow sensor while the engine is idling. If it speeds up your sensor is probably faulty.

  3. One possibility is that the a/c compression is starting to have excessive drag due to a pending clutch bearing failure. I have seen this once or twice over the years. If there seems to be more noise than normal when the ac is on...
