Unemployment benefits are based on earnings prior to unemployment, not dependents etc. IL has all the info online and, if what you need is not there, you can call them. Good luck.

If you are not an IL resident, you shouldn't be taxed there. The ID # is probably the employer's state ID #, not yours. I'd file a Non-resident return to get the withholding back.
