What country are you in? What is DPS? If you simply need an I.D., a passport isn't the only I.D. there is. There are Many forms of I.D.

Ya you do. The driving school, etc was to TEACH you how to drive. Now you must prove that you can safely operate the car to the DPS in order to get a license. They're the ones that issues the license.

The only thing I can think of is to go to the DPS office. Temporary licenses in Texas don't have the audit number on them. Sorry.
