dont fool your self.. no kill shelters still kill... they turn away animals they do not want.. those who are old or they think are unadoptable.. they turn...

I would call. Even if you are not in the market to adopt shelters can always use more volunteers to walk, play with and brush the animals living there.

I feel the same way as Sara. It is not easy to get to. I give most of my yearly charitable donations to them. They have a great quarterly magazine and I think you can receive it with only a $25 yearly membership.

I donate to the Pet Smart Charities. I donate whenever I shop for my pets, in this way I don't miss the extra monies. Also, I sent my old cell phone and my empty ink cartridges...

According to their web site: -- anyone 18 and over may volunteer -- children five and under cannot volunteer -- children between the ages of 6 and 17 may volunteer with a parent or guardian with staff approval
