You can punch a hole in the lid on your own with either a drill or plain ol' hammer and nail. Just steady the lid on a block of wood so you don't drill thru to your floor lol

grocery store: plastic wrap and tape, or similar. Your mouse won t care. You re not going to find just a lid anywhere.

Most likely a skin tag; the eye lids are common places for them. They are not dangerous...
