I used to live in BC, I've seen a lot of Malamutes and other dogs with thick heavy coats that were just fine even during the summer. Worst case, take your dog to the beach to cool down!

Yes I do. One of my most favorite breeds! They are the minature version of the alskan husky though they to my favor resemble the siberian husky more...though that may just be my opinion.

2-3 cups a day...watch how much he eats..he should eat w/e u put in front of him within 15 mins..if not take w/e is left over away and thats how u know how much he needs..also he needs to be fed 3 times a day!
