No, they block that specific email address from being used for a while (over 6 months, I believe). That s so someone else doesn t get to it (before you) and start getting your mail by accident from folks that don t know you shut it down.

Yes... One click on the spam button probably won't stop such a person or mail. But... when others receive the same mail and also click the spam button the spam rating of that person / message gets higher until it is officially considered spam...
