Set it under set your program defaults click on FF or IE and then set as program default go have fun

You can do a "system restore" if you are on a windows (not sure about mac) which basically puts your computer back to a certain point in time, so say if you wanted to go back a year, a month, or even a day! you would go to Start , then Help and Support...

Its not going to affect your main system. One of the most awesome feature of virtual machines is to allow you to test new soft-wares or just anything else without affecting your system.

well bitdefender is fine but you have to set permissions for Kaneva to a trusted list aka the whitelist. you could try eset's nod32 or avg(btw the free version will be fine)
