The question doesn't make sense. There is no correct answer. 6*4 is 24, but it leaves you with 3 and 2 - no combination to subtract 2. 6*3 is 18, but 2 and 4 only allow you to add or subtract 2, not 4 to complete it. It get's worse from then on.
